Jazz Lessons
Contact Me About Jazz Lessons
If you are searching for jazz lessons or jazz bass instruction, tell me a little about yourself when you get in touch.
Performance inquiries are welcome from local, national, and international clients. Travel and booking arrangements depend on the individual event.
Berklee Since 1976
A Teaching Perspective Built on Experience
I have served as a Professor of Bass at Berklee College of Music since 1976, and my teaching perspective is grounded in decades of professional education, performance, composition, and recording.
My experience includes both upright and electric bass. I began playing electric bass at age 14 and later developed an extensive professional career on upright bass.
You do not need to guess whether your experience fits my instruction. Tell me where you are musically and what you hope to accomplish, and we can begin the conversation from there.
